Rose Of The Vine
The yellow rose in this photograph lives in my backyard. It came from a clipping of my husband's Granny. It travels across the prairie in a covered wagon from Missouri to Palouse, Washington.
Pruning helps this wild yellow rose, getting fuller and prettier over the years.
The roses have doubled in petals.
I think of the pruning that happens to us in this life with that thought.
Pruning hurts, changes our plans, may even curtail our dreams.
I believe that we can choose to grow in that pruning or wither.
I Am the Vine, you are the branches, he who abides in Me, and I in him will bear much fruit.
John 15:5
Stay attached to the vine, which supplies everything we need to bear fruit!
